Their not elite at all but no one made a comment that relates to them being elite either. It was simply a point of how much tucker leaving would affect recruiting. Facts are kirby is just as good if not better of a pitch because of his past defenses...

What makes Saban unique is his ability to keep classes together regardless of the assistants who leave for promotions.

From what I've read, Saban pitches playing for him, not necessarily his assistant coaches. Since he's always losing assistants, that would make sense. So I don't think this changes much as far as recruitment. Especially bc the defensive backs are Saban's baby anyways.

Tucker was Ruiques main recruiter and has the strongest bond. But obviously Smart is the draw for GA now.
