Tears Media Tears

What amazes me about all these reporters and pontificators is they don't really understand Miami football. Before Howard S., Miami was going to shut down its program. He created the State of Miami, and turned it around in a couple years. The Miami administration was against football...Tad Foote couldn't stand the program. But, with a strong AD, Sam J., and good recruiting from a carousel of coaches (Schnellenberger, Johnson and then Erickson), Miami reached the top. Granted, college football has changed, but if Mario can recreate, even partially, the State of Miami along with a few out of state, corn fed lineman, Miami can be a perennial power. At the very least, we can compete for ACC championships every year.

Outside of watching the live college football games, that network receives zero attention from me.
Same. They somehow turn the college football selection of 4 teams into an hours long show. After milking that **** for months.

Take 15 seconds and name the **** teams and be done with it.

Who cares? We win and they'll be kissing UM's a$$ constantly. No one's gonna care about Manny's 2 weeks of ambiguity.

Why am I not surprised Andrea wrote that

"That rotten culture led Miami officials -- desperate to land Cristobal -- to abandon decency and class and leave another native son, former coach Manny Diaz, dangling in the wind for nearly two weeks while it cajoled someone else to take his job."

And Diaz is a Nole. **** off

Appeals to norms that aren’t really norms is a classic propaganda tactic. If we are to judge behavior by a standard of honor, then let’s be consistent. Any man of honor would have opened their stomach on the 50 yard line after losing in disgraceful fashion to FIU, as honor demands. Instead, grifters now create a fake morality tale out of Manny’s dismissal, ignoring the fact that he is being paid to leave by the terms he agreed to.

Good thing I don’t **** with any mainstream media. Sports included.

Sports journalists are proof that operation mockingbird continues to this day with their nonstop narrative acting as operative conditioning.

She’s a Gator!!! What else would you expect
Someone needs to ask about the culture during Urbana’s time. Like crime and murder.

Of the top 10 things I give a **** about regarding the Miami Hurricanes, the opinion of a few sports writers over how they think Manny was mistreated probably ranks about 14,961st on the list.

Seriously, these people are clowns. They're dishonest hacks all in a race to bottom for clicks and attention. The most harmful thing you can do to these idiots is to completely ignore them. I'd advise everyone to do just that. F*ck these people and f*ck their opinions. They're insignificant.

Stop hating on ESPN. Every great saga needs a villain. Imagine Star Wars without Vader. They’re just writing our origin story for us. Embrace it. It was messed up. Who cares? Win and no one remembers this week. They’ll be talking about something else we did wrong. Like how could we drop 70 in Nick Saban final game.
Problem is ESPN is no longer a great saga. The ESPN/Star Wars franchise is an appropriate comparison, considering it once was great and has been ruined by people wanting to make political statements.

That being said, let the hate flow.

I had no idea that Manny ******* Diaz had so many supporters in the media. I also had no clue he’s a former ESPN employee, that explains it.

I don't get the shock at this as it completely right... Which is exactly why I said someone like kiffin wouldn't have cut it. Mario IS EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED. His approach, his mentality, everything Mario has as a strength is where we're lacking... For those of y'all that haven't realized this yet, play calling is secondary. Yes it makes it easier, but when your doing everything else right it's just a plus. Just line up and whoop the dude on the opposite side of the ball from you. The rest will take care of itself.

Someone at Miami needs to tell Heather Dinich, Andrea Adelson and most importantly the local media to shut the *** up already. They need to be called out in a big way for their blatant biased reporting, biased opinions, and their continuous talking out of the side of their chicken headed necks as it pertains to the University of Miami's football program. The fact is that over the last 10-15 years Heather, Andrea and the local media have sucked the ****s of some shadowy & mysterious people who stay invisible behind the scenes. They are horrific at their jobs. Report the news little chicken heads and keep your soft *** opinions out of these sports articles.

Look at this ******.

Nice to see all these emotional support journalists coming to Manny's defense.

She can kick rocks, but yes, Miami does (or did) have a rotten culture. The prior "native son" head coach was a political appointment by a unqualified athletic director as a favor to the "native son's" father for select Miami BOT members.

What can be more rotten than that?

Honestly, I didn't mind Lane, but watching his press conference earlier, I said **** dude has the look, attitude, lingo, smarts and presence that Lane doesn't have.

His composure at the end with the last question in which he said that was just for him to share with his family ...... priceless!

I'm hoping he rights this ship because he sure past the eye test for me, and I'm as critical as can be, in bringing a WINNING CULTURE back at Miami and like he said it starts with the foundation and that means everyone has to be involved and locked in.

Just like, Public Enemy, It takes a nation of millions to hold us back ........ that's how I felt

It's been a long time, I'm ready
