Not trying to be negative but what am I missing about these two guys? I know Mccord made a couple of plays against UF and the big hit on an option team trying to pass but has he made another play this season. THis isnt even about today's horrid tackling display. Not saying he is bad just dont see all the hype that he is LT. Same goes for AQM. Has he made a single play this season. I think his highlight is coming untouched and whiffing on Winston. Again not trying to be negative but it seems everyone is banking on these two guys being monsters and turning the d around and I dont see it.

Yea OP is slow. You don't remember then because besides today they were receiving minimal stats. I'll say this much if you don't and can't see the beast in AQM then your football eye has to be questioned

aqm has twig legs. wait till he has weight training and spring practices.

also, our dt's do nothing so it hurts the outside rushers too.

AQM has showed great signs. You're wrong on him. McCord may be a little overhyped. Reckless in a bad way at times.

i see that AQm is physically gifted but I dont recall him making a play. Like I said, these guys might turn out to be great and I hope that they do, but I have yet to see it on the field with the exception of a few plays. Lets remember when they come into the game they have ONE responsibility and with the exception of maybe 3 plays all year they have nothing to show for it. Just not ready to annoint them as the saviors.

Oh and this childish crap about everyone being ghey or stupid, or slow says alot more about you than it does me.

Dude...

Relative to the amount of snaps he's had, and relative to the entire defense basically, McCord has made TONS of impact plays this year. If everyone carried their weight like that we'd look much better, I think.

i like muhammad he's very explosive off the ball and has some pass rush moves not just a bull rush, he's come close a bunch of times to getting sacks i can see the potential there. i just hope the staff doesnt bulk him with extra weight in the off season and he loses his quick step off the snap

Yeah, you're right. 4 sacks, 2 FF and 2 INT's on very limited plays is ****. I would cut McCord after this season.

McCord got burned by Duke bad last week and looked lost. This week he had two very bad missed tackles.

But he does have the potential to be a big playmaker.

Maybe I missed them. He played well against UF and made the big sack against GT but other than that, he has been pretty quiet.

You guys are over reacting to my post. I never said that they CANT be good. I am just saying that so far to me, at this point I havent seen enough from them to be so definitive that they are going to be the answer.

Grow up. Nobody said cut him and I never said he sucks. Relax. I am saying that he has been non existent for huge sections of the season.

They are just players still learning their positions and trying to get bigger. Tyriq has been slowed because I think everyone is a little more prepared for him after seeing what he is capable of. I like some people immediately go for your throat because 2 guys everyone talks about are not producing and you are wondering why. No one here likes to hear that the players did something wrong unless it is the popular opinion.

Oh and unless I missed it, there is more to football than just being able to get a sack. If you get stoned(not saying he does) all game and beat a guy one time and get a sack doesnt make you great.
