Not gonna act like BMac wasn't a loss from a recruiting perspective, but his developmental capacity at Oregon was suspect and obviously its ridiculous he'd leave a school with a baller at qb to go have his new room catching passes from Stetson f'n Bennett but do you BMac, I think we can do better tbh even if the initial optics of losing him sucked.

Mario probably kicked him out of the building and had him escorted off campus. That’s not outrageous. Once he is employed by another school, a coach is nothing more than a pay stealing information from his former employer.

Most companies do this sort of thing.
When a fry cook gives his 2 weeks notice. They let him work his 2 weeks and then he hands in his apron 2 weeks later.
When someone that could actually hurt the company gives his 2 weeks notice. He is, more often then not, escorted off the premises that day.
