Your post reeks of Shancokerization. Everyone you mentioned - Sam Shields aside - was an impact player here. Did you mean Chris Myers? The same Chris Myers who started as a sophomore and made all-ACC before starting at two other positions the next two years? The fact that you think he, or Beason, or Kenny are comparable to Shields is absurd. Even Campbell had a **** solid sophomore year.
Some players are better in the pros than they were in college, or high school. DRose is better in Chicago than he was in Memphis. Doesn't mean he wasn't properly developed in Memphis. Arian Foster is better in Houston than he was at Tennessee. ****. Andre Johnson is better in Houston than he was at Miami. Doesn't mean Curtis Johnson can't coach the **** outta some WRs.
No one is a pro bowler in college. Careers ebb and flow, both in sports and the real world. Bemoaning current successes of Canes in the NFL is a *****ass byproduct of losing too much. I hope we win the ACC and the OB next year and Morris pays great. Then becomes a Pro Bowler. Won't diminish what he does here one bit.
