What have we been doing all year with Jake Smith?

He didn't look this good early on but we sure waited long enough to give him a legit shot as a SP.

I know it’s not important in the context of this game, but it would be good to get Smith a 6 or 7 inning start ahead of the regionals. We’re either going to need to get some decent length from our starters (to avoid killing the bullpen) or very hot bats (they don’t seem to be) to advance next weekend.

I kept bringing him up all season with all the struggles from the other SPs and some of the hype from Smith coming into the yr...glad its finally worked out when it counts
