Matthew Thomas will not be at Senior Day

Man I'm tired of the drama

I don't care one IOTA about Matthew Thomas seriously... He hasn't proven anything in college, if he doesn't want to apart of the tradition and family then f* it and wish him the best of luck.

Keep recruiting him until the end, but do not lose any sleep over the fact he does not want to play here.

Well Cameron was close to the situation so he would have the whole story, but I know for a fact that UF led and he said it in almost every interview up until the final weekend (like Cameron said).

As far as the Thomas situation, it is bad for Miami. Not the end of the world, but it's a missed opportunity for him to learn more about the school, the coaches, the team, etc.
 
I think it's different b/c last year we had local studs like Duke, Bush, and other local Miami kids trying to get all the Miami area players back on board at UM.....and we also had a commitment from Howard's teammate Malcolm Lewis. This year, we don't seem to have those rah-rah guys yet, and the other Booker T kid out there (Kirkland) hasn't committed to us yet. So i think a LOT about Thomas will depend on this season. If we play well and FSU struggles, we may have a chance. If we struggle and FSU plays well, it doesn't look good.

Oh....and there's always Bama lurking as well.
 
Best player in the state over the past 2 years and #2 to Sammy Watkins over the past 3 years.

But, we're really going to worry about one HS guy during the month of August? Dudes, we have bigger things to worry about.

Still don't like to think about losing Thomas to FSU though. I think he will be a Cane when all said and done but still.

hate to say it but i dont think he ends up here. but with that said i didnt think we had a shot at howard last year either
 
I still wouldn't rule out the possibility that he shows up. He could wake up Sunday morning and just decide to go..

I'm sorry but South Florida is known as having the ****tiest sports fan base in the entire country for all sports and these kids having no loyalty for the local team surprises you? Really?

I'm not trying to take shots here but no South Floridian should have any misunderstandings as to why it seems that top local high school recruits seem to be or most likely are more attached/attracted to the "better" programs right now.

As for Matthew Thomas, I would like for him to be a Cane but if he's not I'm not losing anything over it. These kids will go where they go.

The southland says hello. Theres the Lakers and everyone else. Even Laker games are a joke, its just a social status to go to a Laker game. The Mexicans have the Dodgers and the hippies have the Galaxy, but by and large sports are an after thought in LA.

Thanks for tryna to reel me and others back in, but the thought of losing an elite, backyard talent, to the Trashahassee school is a sickening feeling......

The only thing im worried about this is that he doesnt care enough to make a visit dont they give ya free meal? I would come for the meal and im suprised his mom isnt pushing him to go

I understand him wanting to go elsewhere. I do.

But the ******* Noles. Losing a kid like this to the Noles sucks. Bad.
