His teammate Nigel Patten just told me that he asked Thomas right now and he told him that he would not be there.

Not good for Miami, but remember Tracy wasn't there last year.

Don't know what it is but I haven't ever felt like this kid would be a 'Cane. I really want to be proved wrong but I don't see it.
 
Different situation then with Tracy; he never named a leader, and He attended some practices and games last year.

I've heard Thomas say he wants out of Miami, he's never had us in the lead for him, gushed and espoused the greatness of FSU for some time now, and what better way to get mom off your back, then to blow off a chance for a competing school to get a chance to further woo her.

Hope im wrong, and Peter has been platinum with his sources and info, but, as of now, I'm not seeing the young man playing here.

still too early to get worried. Season hasn't even started. For all we know, the Noles will fail to live up to their pre-season hype and will fall to the likes of Wake Forest AGAIN.... Jimbo may be on the hot seat if that's the case.

Tracy publicly had UF as his leader for virtually the entire process

Yup, sure did. He was as good as gone until his visit right before signing day.
 
I never remember Tracy naming Florida his outright leader; always had great things to sa about them, but I dont remember him saying they were faves. Maybe he did, I just dont remember that. Plus, there was the whole supposed "beef" between him and Poole.


So Peter and Cam, yall think this is no big deal?

I worry cuz he's one of the 2-3 best players in florida and one of the best 10-15 in the country, and he has our arch rivals as our favorite. I know it doesn't make or break our class, but I'd really love to keep him home.
 
What is it with kids in south FL? So much disrespect for the 'Canes. Kids in SoCal literally give their left nut to USC. I just dont get the draw to FSU and UF coming from Dade county.

SC didn't have SoCal on lock until Petey came along and started winning 10 games.
