Matt Patchan transfering from UF

Never been so happy we missed on a recruit when I wanted him so bad to begin with.

Dude is a b*tch...not to mention, can you imagine all the press we would have gotten if he had choose us and then got shot at that party he went to a couple years ago?

That was the best part of his recruitment. He'd talked extensively in interviews about how Miami wasn't a safe place to go to school, how it was in a bad area, etc. and then like the month after he enrolled at UF he got shot on campus.

Isn't that awesome? That's awesome. Don't know why everyone is so bitter about him now. That made up for everything in my book. Plus he sux.
 
I recall reading that he was injured for at least 2 of the years he was there. I don't think we ended up missing out on anything special from this over rated player.

Well, he was the guy that got beat by the DE that gave Tebow a concussion at Kentucky....so there's that.

C'mon man, you know we can **** all over our own team, but no else better say a single bad thing about them. Also, everyone in the media is out to get us.

On a serious note though, I don't blame kids for not coming here under Shannon, but the way this kid went about it was amateur, especially considering his legacy.
 
Meh. I used to hate the kid for picking UF but I really couldn't care less about him anymore.


Has he done anything worth while at UF?

I still hate that lowlife scumbag piece of trash just as much today as I did when he turned traitor.
 
One of the biggest douchebags ever. Embarrassed the U with the announcement knowing **** well he wasn't going there. Hope we play BC next year and Bronze Al tells Gabe Terry what he did. Don't think we play them though

After all the angst over this guy's recruitment, how he was a legacy lock, had all that fire, talent, anger, was going to be another key catalyst for turning things around here, was animatedly disappointed on the sidelines as to how current guys weren't passionate about winning, how his parents couldn't possibly let us down to let him go elsewhere - and now this.

Fade to black. Sad for him. Me so over it long time..
