Parrish could be frustrating and confusing. He would get stuffed at the LOS by a couple defenders and somehow manage to get a 3 yard gain out of nothing. Next play, he would have wide open lane and get touched by the defender closest to him and fall down.

But man, could he bang that ball hard in frustration though!!

So 8 years ago - we had a 6-1/238 RB who just ran for 800 yds & 13 TD's in his 6th NFL season.

But Gus is NOT our most talented RB in the last 8 years?

I agree.

Example - Henry Parrish was more productive last year, but IMO Mark Fletcher is more talented.

To do what Gus has done in the NFL - that takes talent.

Deejay was so underrated. Kid showed up in big games with a terrible OL. Martinez is better but I would’ve loved to see DD with this offensive line.

Walton was a great all-around player but I think Martinez has him beat as a runner. He is 230 pounds and just turned 20. Ran for over 2,000 yards in his teens during the peak of the Pac 12.
