I know everyone is excited about Blades, Samuel jr, Surtain Jr but this kid is a lockdown corner. He was the best defensive back at coconut creek last year.

yea they were calling him the best there. lot of people said he was placed on other teams best wr's...not Mullen

Lots of times i've read that Mullen just goes through the motions and doesn't really love football. Prop Joe you seem to be in tune with the players down there would you say that is the case with Mullen?
 
Im not PropJoe but I went to two Coco Creek games over the past two years and had no clue that they had a top corner in the nation playing for them. Found out on this board when I left the game. And the best player on the field both years combined was Emmanual Greene. Mullen was non existant. Ben Victor was soft as cotton.

**** really? That never ends well for the kid. Rarely can a kid just turn on that work ethic if you don't have it from the start. Oh well sounds like we aren't missing much here then.

I don't know if its the work ethic on Mullen.

Just majority of the Creek kids seem to be a little overhyped. Their coaches seem to do a good job promoting them, and they play real well and attend all the 7 on 7 events.

To me they are high potential kids that can perform a the next level...we got one of them....who actually performed solidly on both sides of the ball..and he will be a kid that fits a position fit as a nickel corner..his expectations wont be that high and he can maybe grow into his position here at um learning under Corn. The other two kids.....they will have high expectations..anmd like Jassis said their are mix reviews on both...
