Marquez Stevenson - how did we not land him?

I’m more impressed with SMU’s D-line coach

I have been watching him for a while, going back to when UM was looking for a DLINE coach. Joyner was a 2 yr GA for OSU dline coach Larry Scott who is one of the best ever dline coaches.

But since he was a Texas guy, I didn't bring him up. An actually the previous SMU dline coach is another guy I thought of as an option for UM as dline & Special teams.

Go Canes

PS: but I am still hollering bring KP home as Dline coach.

KP doesnt want to live here. move on from that

Sad but true.

He would have balled here. He has ridiculous talent and and has that dog in him. He works at his craft and and dares to be great. AR-15 balled here with bad QB play. Had in not been for a stretch of drops and inconsistent play and a career ending injury he would have been drafted. Bottom line great players are going to ball where ever they go.

Lack of player development can make your evals look like crap. Jerry Jeudy I believe is rated as the top rated prospect for the NFL draft. Would he be if he came to Miami?

We know the answer to that question

Outstanding is a bold word. They’ve dropped the ball with a lot south Florida recruits that, “ weren’t miami caliber” that went on to Have great careers elsewhere.

Outstanding was poor choice but I think we do a good job of it, most of the time we never sign those kids but we find them first

Yes he would be because he gets open and has the intangibles....he has the prototypical speed route tree and hands. Even if his stats were not inflated here gms would watch the film and see that he was open. Its there job to watch the film not only the highlights its why a kid like Juedy was heavily sought after.

Artie Burns Erik Flowers werent on great teams and got picked in round one because of film study and size and speed and they didnt pan out. NFL Scouts will find studs regardless of production or record....if u draft only by peoduxtion u will be fired in the nfl. Same as HS Yearby had better stats even started but Cook was better to the eyeballs and most here knew (most with a brain)

No richards balled his freshmen year with kaaya. He only played like 6 games his sophmore year and was hurt the whole time. And when he did play he was getting frustrated as **** with rosier.

He still was productive in games he played in. Duke Syracuse Virginia come to mind

Richards balled at Miami. There was a stretch where he struggled before he got injured but that was on him. Bottom line, Jeudy would ball if he was at Army or Air Force. He gets open period.

Jeff thomas gets open too but never gets the ball. Juedy would not get the ball here.

This isn’t true, well the sucking part is true but evaluating talent is false.

We do an outstanding job of evaluating talent but that talent once noticed around the county kicks us to the curb like Crowley last year

List the kids who have decommitted from Miami and went on to prolific college careers.
