The staff and many on this board never really cared about Briggs until Norton and McIntosh declared anyway. Not losing sleep over his FSU commitment.
 
Diaz and a couple coaches will most likelybe seeing him Wednesday/Thursday. We are Very much in this one boys :eek::chuncky:

Landing this kid would be our biggest OOS pull of the Richt era. When you combine need for DT + his talent, it isn’t even close. Keep pushing.

It was a fairly weak year for DL in state. You usually arent going to pull in elite OOS kids at such important positions unless you're throwing bags around. We got the top DT in state and the top DE if you're not counting the kid from IMG that's headed to Clemson. Right now Briggs is the only miss and he wanted to be a Note so bad that he almost committed Jimbo even though he hadn't heard from him in months.

This is ridiculous. I'm as concerned as anyone about our DL recruiting, but you shouldn't get hysterical based on one complete recruiting class thus far (2017). Let's see what happens in the next week and a half. Honestly, if we add one of Miller/Keondre and one of Chatman/Chatfield, we will have a heck of a DL group coming in. That's a big "if," but it's not farfetched by any means.

I DOnt know about that cause Staff now turning to in home visits with Campbell and Surtain. The entire defensive staff and Richt are going to those.
