We never really focused on him solely. We evaluated a few prospects until Jadon Haselwood showed up to campus in the Spring unannounced and he has been our focus #1 with TJ Jones focus #2

If you guys haven’t noticed a pattern here... James Franklin comes in at Vandy a relative unknown and suddenly they start picking up recruits and building a decent football team. He leaves Vandy in shambles and with 3 kids on trial for rape. Heads to Penn state who has sucked and suddenly Penn state starts pulling kids they weren’t getting before after 1 visit. Hmmmmm.... writing is on the wall!

Franklin has always been a beast recruiter back to his Maryland days.

Wiltfong usually doesn't do the "visit high" stuff. He's been doing this for a long, long time. When he makes his picks, he puts a lot of thought and talks to a lot of people. He's not always correct, but he didn't put it in just because MAR liked his visit, trust me.

Like someone said, I've always felt he was looking for a reason not to come to Miami. Just like McIntosh, your brother played under this staff, you know all the players, you know the campus and what is there to be offered. At this point, you either in or out.

100% correct. legacy recruits are either in or out. They know better than any poster what is going on inside the locker room, internal issues and perspectives. We do not have a healthy environment right now and the look into the future is not good. It all began after the LSU game issues.. and then consummated after the UVA mishandling!

In fairness, this is the same guy who flipped his pick for Tyrique from UGA to Miami. Guy doesn't bat .1000

Should have lost to Iowa too. Not sure why the refs and media are so supportive of Penn State. I heard one of the commentators say "I like to see Penn State do well". Like yeah, after a child molestation scandal the one thing I want to see is their football program do well.

Considering how quickly that game was over, I wouldn't say it's comparable. Just my two cents, but from television that OSU game was lit.
