Mark Pope still open

These kids just want to explore the country and see college girls. Lol. Some of my mentees take official visits all over just to have a good time when in fact they already know where they are going. I wouldn't look into it at all.

There way to many fake insiders here. Pete and Geo...the best. Brooklyn Dee is a nice guy but he really does not have insider info. Marrero talks to some of the kids but he is a tadpole. Now about this Tweed character....I am sure he means well but the dude gives me the creeps. Come one let's be honest, this guy Tweed has his head so far up Lingards *** that we can't tell where one ends and the other begin. He is also actively "recruiting" kids in social media. Like I stated, seems like he means well but he needs to be leashed in. FACT!

Kill yourself

He just mad cause Mcelteeth can't recruit to save his life. Gators are excited cause one if their 3* DB target decommited from Rutgers yesterday

Don't be a moron. I've a Canes fan since 1983. Where you even around then?

Yes Albert I've been around since then

It is all about winning. Win 10. Win the coastal. Win against FSU. Win another bowl. WIN!!!

EDITED: apologies for my failure to see any family resemblance. Now the forum warriors are out for blood?! Sad and pathetic.

Respected posters fine, but they are not insiders. As far as the one guy, how the heck was I supposed to know he is related (by marriage I assume) to the recruit? Seemed fishy to me, that is all. But yeah, keep slurping.

IMO, the only insiders here who have proven over and over that they have "inside" info when it comes to recruits are Pete and Geo. Others might be connected to the program but are taking a GUESS and posting it here.

Again, U don't know what you're talking about. Maybe if u weren't brand new before u attacked people's credibility, U wouldn't look like an ******* right now. So either u aren't the brightest, or you're a Gaytor troll, in which case the former applies as well.

From what I gathered today, some of the southridge guys feel "left out" because of how early they all committed in their respective processes. The staff at Miami has pretty much received most of its commitments for the 18' class and has been moving on to 19' and beyond, outside of a few key positions. The staff is still staying in touch with these guys, but some of the contact/attention has decreased. Both Howard and Pope are being recruited by UF, Bama and others pretty **** hard and these guys enjoy the attention. What 16/17/18 yr old wouldn't?

They both felt like they are missing out on a big piece of the recruitment process by shutting it down 100%. They will take official visits and entertain other schools to enjoy the process like some of their boys. While I think they could eventually decommit (very unlikely) I think they end up at Miami from what I have heard.

Talked to a guy in Silvera's circle. I would expect some sort of "drama" from him eventually too. I think he also ends up in the class, but it won't be all sunshine and rainbows.

Expect a bunch of our guys to still take officials.

LMFAO at our newest fake insider.

Laughing twice as hard at the clueless mopes asking him for updates. You guys must be the easiest marks in the world.

I don't know this guy from a hole in the wall, but he's using all the tried and true techniques. Makes lots of illusory comments that can neither be proved nor disproved. Keeps repeating how he's right all the time even though no one actually remembers all these correct calls. Admits to a single mistake to give himself some credibility even though he doesn't truly own the L.

I always enjoy watching marks get played by confidence men especially when the confidence men aren't all that good at it. His latest update boiled down is: Recruits enjoy attention, and Pope might stay with UM or he might go elsewhere. You gotta love it.

I agree with Pete that we don't have much to worry about right now. That comment may change after these guys take 3-5 official visits.

This. Yall cats act like Jobe and Frierson didnt technically do the same **** thing! Jobe basically "unofficially" opened up his recruitment and went to Bama to make sure he was making the right choice..came back..and announced to the world that he had seen all he needed to see and was completely shutting it down.

Welcome to the world of having a class full of elite guys 9 months before NSD. We can make a list of kids right now who are going to take visits, flirt with schools, soak up the attention, and look around...good for them. People make me laugh with the "Saban would never allow this" talk. Alex Leatherwood made the rounds and was having a ball visiting schools all last summer and Saban didnt say ****. GTFOH.

If you dont want this type of stuff to happen, then lets start recruiting 2 and 3 star players again and we will DEFINITELY not have to worry about them doing this stuff. When you got 4 and 5 stars? Welcome to the party! As you can see as Cane fans, we are new to this.

Thanks for the update...

Maybe Richt and staff "overestimating" commitment...Gotta suck these kids until the very end unfortunately. NH

richt seems like he would know what hes doing esp after the letting brown **** up the mcfarland situation. it sounds like these kids want to take their visits and get the most perks on those visits.

Spot on. Once you've hung around long enough like the vets, you start to quickly pick up the "insider" handbook. My favorite is all the qualifier statements on predictions thereby allowing for safe easy outs when things go to ****. This poster's posts are littered with them.

Lmao he gone. Same **** happens every year. And the o-line and d-line recruits are non existent. But hey we have a decent RB prospect and a backup QB commIted to us so we back!!! Gotta rexruit the big uglies upfront and a QB or else all of the skill positions don't mean ****.

Got the scoop at work today. Will post later tonight

This already sounds like a bag story (don't care if you're an insider or not). I personally don't get too caught up in recruiting until around December once the regular season ends. That's when **** starts getting real.

Then go f*ck yourself and put me on ignore

Your tears sustain me. Keep bringing it.

No tears. You're the ones sitting here waiting for anyone with an Inside scoop to whip out their teet to suck on. Then you bash anyone who offers info up. We have the worse ****ing fan base and these kids know it. If you don't think they read theses boards, think again.

Show me where I was waiting for inside info. I'll wait.

You really need to stop being so soft shouldered regarding this issue, especially when you bring up kids looking at these forums. That's a typical ***** move. Like Miami recruits are going to be ****ed that random poster A is calling out random poster B for being an "insider". Now go run along and be the fake insider that you are.

Exactly. That's all I'm saying.

I mean point to one thing he's revealed that wasn't already public knowledge or hadn't been deduced by people that follow recruiting. There's not a single one.

He really busted out the breaking news on that one.

Compare and contrast the fake insider schtick guys and their waffling "right now we are ok with Pope, but that could change" with Pete's committal and direct "nothing to see here."

I hate early commitments. That's just a target for other schools to anti recruit. As the days go on, more pressure (money) will be added to the table. August is when you'll know who is legit canes and just holding a spot.

Gentlemen, I can't stress how important our 2017 season will be. One of two things will come from this season; 1) Miami put the world on notice we coming for that throne and kids will cut throat their way to being in our class or 2) We are nothing more than a good looking side chick in which kids will use us until Wifey comes around. We do #1 , and we won't be seeing story lines like this anymore.
