From what I gathered today, some of the southridge guys feel "left out" because of how early they all committed in their respective processes. The staff at Miami has pretty much received most of its commitments for the 18' class and has been moving on to 19' and beyond, outside of a few key positions. The staff is still staying in touch with these guys, but some of the contact/attention has decreased. Both Howard and Pope are being recruited by UF, Bama and others pretty **** hard and these guys enjoy the attention. What 16/17/18 yr old wouldn't?
They both felt like they are missing out on a big piece of the recruitment process by shutting it down 100%. They will take official visits and entertain other schools to enjoy the process like some of their boys. While I think they could eventually decommit (very unlikely) I think they end up at Miami from what I have heard.
Talked to a guy in Silvera's circle. I would expect some sort of "drama" from him eventually too. I think he also ends up in the class, but it won't be all sunshine and rainbows.
Expect a bunch of our guys to still take officials.
LMFAO at our newest fake insider.
Laughing twice as hard at the clueless mopes asking him for updates. You guys must be the easiest marks in the world.
I don't know this guy from a hole in the wall, but he's using all the tried and true techniques. Makes lots of illusory comments that can neither be proved nor disproved. Keeps repeating how he's right all the time even though no one actually remembers all these correct calls. Admits to a single mistake to give himself some credibility even though he doesn't truly own the L.
I always enjoy watching marks get played by confidence men especially when the confidence men aren't all that good at it. His latest update boiled down is: Recruits enjoy attention, and Pope might stay with UM or he might go elsewhere. You gotta love it.
