Mario

You are putting the defense back on the field regardless, why would u put them on the field with 3 minutes left DOWN A TOUCHDOWN ? Even if they got a stop we would have had no time or timeouts

AND NOW WE HAVE TO DRIVE AGAIN TO SCORE 7 WITH MOST LIKELY UNDER A MINUTE

WTF did the defense show all half to warrant that trust? The offense showed all year that u should trust them over the defense. Just s terrible decision
Correct. Also Cuse's FG long make this year is 44 yards. The stop we woulda asked our D to make had we scored a TD was to somehow not give up like 40-50 yards on the next possession, which while not great odds, still better than asking our defense to not give up more than 2 first downs and ask our offense to drive 70+ yards and score a TD with no TOs.

Though biggest crime wasn't making the correct choice (go for it on 4th down) between two unpalatable choices, but to have simply given #6 the ball starting on 1st and goal from the 8 until he either scored or we turned it over on downs

I don’t believe he goes 9-3 at Miami - the point im making is he does more with less. Mario is the opposite - he wasted the best qb in the history of the program. We did better with Malik Rosier.

Did you notice that in year 9 he couldn't outcoach a 2-6 Kansas team?

No one knows how many wins we will have. And when you spin a 10-2 record into "we could been 7-5", it's obvious your mind was already made up.

It's fine, just let me know who we're bringing in that will guarantee conference titles.
Mind is made up for what? I have no confidence in him that’s all. Not our decision.

He kicked a field goal when he had to know we wouldn’t see the ball again. Your season is on the line and you defer to you lack of defense?

Mario makes my points for me. We don’t win 10 games next year…unless he has an incredible recruiting class…new coaches…and he steps away and goes to the booth.

On the good side…we are only 11 transfer defenders away from improving that side of the ball.

And mario couldn’t beat Syracuse and GT with a far superior team by any metric. ISU and Kansas - about even in terms of talent. I get it you think he is great, I don’t. No sense arguing anymore. At the end of the day we are still playing in a non consequential bowl game. Congrats to you, I guess.

I thought we had already moved on from Mario. I'm asking what you're going to do when Matt Campbell goes 9-3 since you said it's either win the conference or get fired.

Oh, and if Iowa State and Kansas are about equal in terms of talent, where was the "outcoaching"? Sounds like Campbell needs a talent advantage.

Man you are hilarious- we have the talent advantage in almost every game we play at Miami. Find me a game where Campbell loses to an inferior team and then does it for three straight years like Mario…. Seriously, call it a day bud. You lost this one.

I thought we moved on from Mario. You want someone better and your choice is Matt Campbell. 4-8 in year 7, can't stop 2-6 Kansas, but he's the guy who will guarantee ACC titles. That's certainly a choice.

I’m not sure you understand your own position. If everything was equal I’m taking Campbell over Mario period. Again didn’t say anything about a guaranteed championship. Get your facts straight. How about we just play for one for starters?

But you said if you don't win the ACC title you should be fired. Now you don't hold Campbell to that standard?

Again you prove your ignorance. Nothing in that post suggests winning the ACC. It implies just making it.
Even better. So now you're going to fire a guy for not making it to the championship game. Is that true for Matt Campbell? 6-2 in the ACC gets him fired?
