But again, why do we want him to like us so we don't hate him? He is not Miami born or raised, he played for another high profile school and really doesn't have to have any special liking for Miami. He only has to be fair to us and not biased and hateful like Finebaum and others. We are so bruised as fans to the extent that if one media figure doesn't talk bad about us and seems to give us credit for the glory days we think he likes us.
Which is fine. All relative you know.

And I've had lengthy conversations with Gaytors and SemenHoles where I displayed exhaustive knowledge and respect for their teams over the years.

Doesn't mean that I meant one word of it. I'm just a polite guest.

Wasn’t a mutual respect type of conversation. He genuinely loves Miami. Said he wish we would have offered him coming out but he wasn’t that good lol.
