There’s like 50 posts about how bad Mario is and 2 about TVD?!?! You people are nuts!! This program was literally garbage the last 20 years! This guy came in and is getting recruit after recruit and coach after coach and he fux up and you dumb shyts. just burn him? We were the joke of the NCAA for 20 freaking yeas!! These kids look at this board and you’re burning everything for F’n who?!?! Who the F can come to Miami and do better than this?!?! The answer is nobody. Nobody can it’s a super expensive private school with low attendance and alumni but a great brand. This guy is the only choice. He’s made Miami relevant for the first time in 20. Well if you don’t want your players fighting for yards when they’re running the ball and competing you should do a play that doesn’t allow your players to get touched. Where they can’t fumble , is there such a play ?

You know why there’s so many posts on Mario? He makes 8 million dollars a year to not make mistakes of which a six year old knows better playing Madden. Tvd played like absolute ****. The OL couldn’t open holes against a horrible run D. The backs has to constantly make guys miss in the hole. Defenders blew conwrage on the last drive coverage. Even with all that the game was over if we kneeled the ball. The kids weathered the storm and over came the bad play to win. Mario stepped in and said “ nah, I think we should lose“.

A coach isn't going to tell a RB "Dont fight for extra yardage, go down on contact." That's why you just have the QB take a knee. It avoids most of the bad scenarios. Even if the snap is fumbled in the victory formation , the formation is so tight that the QB will very likely fall on it.
H ell, a lot of teams will even bring the backup QB out for the victory formation just to avoid any chance the starting QB will get his foot stepped on as the DL pushes the OL back.
I can't fathom the logic behind taking even the smallest chance of giving the opponent life. Football is stressful enough as it is. Why wouldn't you just take the W?

this ^^ What the heck happened tonight? I guess some of it could be the field and weather made footing tricky but after watching this line dominate A&M's line, I couldn't understand why they had so much trouble last night.....

It's not hating on TVD to point out how bad he played. Throwing ball into the dirt in front of wide open WRs is a serious sign of mental issues. Can't blame the OC on this one.
Tried to warn people this TVD could come out but no one wanted to belive it. He is still locking on and makes very bad decisions only covered up by the poor teams we played.
I know you and others adore TVD but the signs were there.
I get that. We all do. This won’t happen again. There is more momentum (until yesterday) than we’ve had since I was a kid. It WON’T get better if we fire him. He F’d up and he needs to own it. That post game interview was a terrible look. He has to fix it. With that said TVD is a quitter. He has been known since the beginning to not be a good team member and folds under pressure. That is a change we need. If Mario doesn’t own this s h I t and doesn’t hold him accountable he will lose this team and the recruits that we’re going to come here. 3 picks and was sitting on his a s s since the first. Crap leader. We need a gamer. A serviceable QB can be successful here now. Today and Mario won’t ***** that up again

The line did not dominate A&M running the ball either, we had a couple solid runs but for most part they handled our run.. We took shots against A&M and made them pay, we did great against them with pass pro, first half we took ZERO shots against GT, They sat in 2 deep shell and we never challenged the middle of field, we let them stay comfortable in their defenseand gain confidence, mario called it being mEtHoDiCaL but we had zero points most of half, at halftime 3 points.. We ran up middle of light box and couldnt make them pay, no stretch, no outside zone, maybe one counter, no pitchout, nothing..

No, a coach isn't going to tell a player that, but the player has to be smart about it. Just like RBs do when you have a 1-point lead and a clear TD. Most times the RB will go down and the team runs the clock rather than scoring and going up 8. Our football IQ is incredibly low.
Dawson should have had us in victory formation, which we weren't with 2 WRs wide. Mario should have noticed this and overruled him. TVD should have taken a knee. Chaney should have taken a knee. Bottom line, someone should have broken the chain of absolutely ludicrous decisions, but it falls 100% on the idiot making $8 million a year. As for just taking the win, I agree, but Mario did the same thing at Oregon in 2018. SMDH

Don’t know what that offensive game plan but it sucked. UM did NOT attack them horizontal, vertical, or middle of the field enough. No wrinkles to keep them honest. Just a complete lack of creativity and willingness to take advantage of what the defense was doing. Don’t know if Mario was trying to prove a point, but that’s not how u win football games. Not only do you out physical your opponent, but you gotta out smart them too. Seems like him and Coach Dawson forgot that.
Never thought TVD was an NFL caliber qb, but he is good enough to win. But this game showed his biggest weakness and that’s his lack of grit and willing to do whatever to get that 1st down/keep the drive alive. There’s plenty of college QBs in history and currently now that are like that but have grit to put their team in their back. He was scared, getting the ball out too quick, staring down WRs, not even willing to move out the pocket, whether that’s to run or extend the play to find something.
For some reason idc about the fumble or not kneeling, UM should have been up 3 scores. Coaches obviously ain’t do their jobs over the bye week. All we can hope is the coaching staff learn from this.

Find me a qb that’s never had a bad game. Tvd is not elite , great or first round pick but he’s a good college qb that’s streaky at times. **** Charlie Ward was a pick machine and was benched at one time. Guys here are so up and down it’s crazy. Either You suck or are a Heisman winner . We’re going to the playoff then the next minute we’ll lose 6 games lol. Nothing has changed , the truth is somewhere in the middle. Emotions is the only thing changing.That was good last night?

He constantly harps on accountability. Let’s see if he practices what he preaches moving forward because last night he failed his team, program and fan base. This is on him. Period, end of story.
