Mario staff question for those that might know

I'd be surprised if it wasn't us or LSU. Maaaybe Clemson if Elliott does go to Duke. But Miami is the best situation of those 3. He also went to Everglades HS and his family is still in South Florida. Dabo always seems to promote from within so I could see them just promoting Streeter to OC.

People seem to be confident that he's not getting another NFL opportunity right now - despite having nothing to do with the Panthers struggles.

I don't think he will but I could see his name popping up for some college HC jobs now that he's unemployed
I’m not sure he’ll want to go back to LSU and try to recreate something he’s done already plus not having the same type of talent.

Off field maybe. He brought Bobby Williams with him to oregon from bama to coach TEs
Ahhh didnt know that. So he may have that role already be spoken for. Unless perhaps BW doesnt want to move to Miami. Fields also has spent the past 3 years recruiting down here and building relationships. Depends on how much Mario thinks of both of them and values certain advantages each bring to the table. But an off field role wouldnt be out of the question Im guessing. He was off field with Oregon. We certainly have the money now to make it attractive.

I've mentioned it to some in PM - the budget for assistant's (10 on-field assistants only) is going to be essentially the "Clemson" model. I think we end up being higher than them after they lose their 2 highest paid assistants.

$8-8.5M - ideally 2 coordinators are in the $4-4.5 range and then the other 8 guys are at $500k give or take apiece.

You can hire almost anyone you want for that money with someone respected like Cristobal as the head man.
What about the budget for analysts?

Why? Fields hasn’t recruited very well and I’m not seeing hardly any development out of those TEs.
I guess we agree to disagree on that. I think Arroyo, Brantley and Mammarelli is a pretty good 2 year haul. Arroyo is one of my favorite young guys and is going to play on Sundays in my opinion. Field was also involved in a number of other recruitments, so I dont think it would be completely accurate to tie his success to the TE room. As for development, Brevin played well his sr year when he was on the field. Mallory played well the minute TVD started playing. Thats not a coincidence. Again, wouldnt hate it. But it looks like Bobby Williams could be the guy as already stated. Perhaps make Field Director of Recruiting.

imo, knowing that mirabal is almost certainly coming, my priority for an OC would be a QB developer. if you've got a QB and an OL in today's game, the rest will figure itself out (especially since getting skill position athletes at miami is almost a given).

Big No on Muschamp. He’s not a good DC any more and I believe he burned some bridges with HS coaches from his time at Florida. I think we can do better than KP at D-Line coach.

Going to ignore my own post's instructions and give my choices if I was hiring lol. Help me fill in the blanks:

OC: Joe Brady
DC: Will Muschamp
OL: Alex Mirabal
RB:
WR:
TE:
LB:
DL: Kevin Patrick?
DB: Rod Chance
ST:

DL - EDDY O

Media is already saying UM has no ethics because of how mean it was to Diaz, no reason to run away from the reputation. We'll always be Thug U. I say embrace it!
