Just goes off on him for 5 seconds and the guy has to look around for somebody to tell him he just got canned.

It really is inexcusable. This is not the first time this has happened either. However, today is a pretty important media event, if not the largest media event for the department each year. You would think they would have their video and audio tested several times before they go live. Then to top it off, no one is monitoring and fixing the issue during the whole presser.
I don’t like firing people or see people get fired but this is ridiculous incompetence.
