I listened. He said brown could’ve gone against wake but they held him out after warmups.

So I assume he so a go for Syracuse,

All he said about Rodriguez is he is cleared. There was no definitive statement he is playing next weekend.

Also with Alston said he should be good and is close.

Yeah, I think he'll get worked back into the rotation slowly. But to be fair, he's not really playing CB but Nickle. So the substitution decision is more about which safeties we want on the field, I think. Because when we go from 4-3 to 4-2-5, I think the primary question is whether coaches whether to use Brown or go with Meesh at Nickle.

I would have to re-watch but against Wake, it looked like we went mostly 4-3 with Mesh playing safety and a third lb. When we did go 4-2-5 for obvious passing downs Mesh dropped down to nickel, Porter stayed outside and #15 Merkeith came in at safety.

I like that adjustment, especially keeping Porter outside. I would guess Brown potentially comes in some at nickel and 0 would stay at safety
