The point was he had Top 10 locked in before lunch! That's incredible in itself...it should only get better this afternoon with Blount, Hayes and Lucas.

I've been consistent with this, but IMO top 10 is not elite. Top 5 should be the bar every year, minimum, if we're trying to win championships.

Question is can we keep them long term with the portal. We have already seen how it can affect top talent. Also, it’s a very good class overall but it’s not elite and avg per recruit is barely in the top 20.

Yup, can’t say we didn’t go all out on him… his family made no secret we probably threw the highest dollar at him and you know Mario is a dawg on the trail.

Changing perception of what a Mario offense started last year… say what you will but our top 2 WRs had very productive stats even with a shuffling of QBs that included a dude who went AWOL and a true freshman
