Canesinder pic? What were we sleeping?

Mario out there working 24/7, no time to fire his incompetent OC, winning battles, moving on from lost ones, and CIS can’t get a camera in the room…

Come on man!

Think ain’t fire him. Cuz he on a 2 yr contract. N them boys inherited a horrible roster. Let see how yr 2 turn out.
This.....I trust the judgement of professionals who picked him as assistant of the year rather than our inpatient fan base. IMHO the lack of talent limited the play calling and we had to play it conservatively. Looks like we're getting some playmakers and OT depth so we have time to throw it downfield and players who can actually get free and hold onto the ball.

I'd prefer they keep all the coaches, let them get their guys in, and give them next year to give a fair evaluation. Changing offenses or defenses again isn't going to be easy for the players. IMHO some consistency with some hungrier players will help alot.

sure with 4 and 5 star guys littered over the offense including oline even I can stumble to success. But his lack of feel for the game evidenced by his play calling was most concerning for me.

Respectfully this is the most insane post I’ve read this year.
We almost went two games without scoring a touchdown. It’s okay to admit Mario hired a poor OC. It’s not just the playcalling; people don’t like his demeanor. Hopefully he gets it right the second time because Gattis is getting canned or else TVD and Jake wouldn’t have came back.

I used to think his recruiting prowess was overblown by people that just wanted him here because he was a Cane

There’s no degrees of “right and wrong” but I was as wrong as a person can be
When you're the recruiting coordinator at Alabama I expect you to be great.

He got some obscene talent to Bum****, Oregon. This is exactly what I expected from him. We didn't hire him for his X's and O's.

Preliminarily, what decent OC are youi going to get here when you just fired an OC after 1 year. Secondly, he's OC of the year and then suddenly the next year he forgets everything.....or is it more likely he had no talent to work with?

I mean the last time it happened Manny f***ing Diaz managed to hire Rhett Lashlee, so I'd say you could get a pretty decent OC in exactly these circumstances.

Also I've got Michigan fan friends who complained about Gattis for years. But "Michigan finally figures it out under Harbaugh" is a **** of a narrative, and that's how you win awards. Gattis is still the only human being who could make me remember Dan Enos fondly and needs to get TF out of Coral Gables as soon as humanly possible.

Nah ... he is no good (Gattis). His 2020 season was horrible at Michigan ... so bad they had to promote the TE coach to Co OC and he was given GAME PLANNING responsibility and they also added another staffer to the O side +Harbaugh. Result was changed results for the 2021 season. The "Broyles Award" wasn't given to him by U of Michigan for sure ... they were glad to "lose" him to UM and their offense improved. "Changing offenses" won't be a problem ... 80% of the starting offensive roster will be new arrivals ... portal and 2023 class. New legit OC should make an easy transition. Gattis single handedly tanked the offensive production capability of this program. Worst OC in the history of UM football.
