On second thought, maybe we can go for the anti-Cuban
I say we offer Raul Castro

I disagree. The season ended without many of our fans finishing. This is a consolation squirt on a faceless issue…Close thread
Ohio State & Philly Eagles fans are f'n ridiculous too but some Miami fans are miserable & very ungrateful
Still in Middle school.lol even if we wanted to fire him today, we couldn't afford it. hes here for a while regardless of win loss results. so better question is, who are the candidates that are primed to take over after Marios 10 years?
Ohio State.JFC this has to be the only fan base that wants to talk about a new head coach after a potential 11 win season.
The problem with our current guy is he doesn’t bring anything to the table outside of supposedly being an ace recruiter.
He’s not X’s and O’s, he’s not a great game planner, he doesn’t manage the team well, he doesn’t have any feel for the game and he doesn’t get his teams ready.
The one thing he is supposed to do great is beginning to look very average the further away from any signing day we get. His 23 class is looking like a bust, we got bodied on the trail this year for HS croots, and he’s not really the ace recruiter he was made out to be.
A better question is this…..what does he bring to the table for 8 mil a year? What advantages do we have with him?
Mark Richt, Manny Diaz, and Mario Cristobal have a combined 69 wins, so 9 years. Not true Ryan Day is 67-10 and Ohio st fans want him gone. Maybe for a week the Tennessee game cools things down. How many years would it take a Miami football coach to win 67 games?
I say we wait until the offspring of Manny Diaz and Al Golden combine and conceive a future head coach.
Not sure if that’s stupid or not but it’s not nearly as stupid a response as the question was.
There’s your answer
OSU fans make us look reasonable and intelligentNot true Ryan Day is 67-10 and Ohio st fans want him gone. Maybe for a week the Tennessee game cools things down. How many years would it take a Miami football coach to win 67 games?
Merry Christmas you poor soul…find your self a warm hole and crawl in it.We seem to have a good sized contingent of fans who don’t think Mario is the guy.
Honest question for discussion, if you got your wish and he was fired who would you want to take his place and why? I’m asking for specific names and what they bring to table and why they’d be an upgrade. Some things to consider…
-Has to be realistic. Don’t list Kirby Smart or another coach at an established power we’d never get.
-What would UM be willing to pay?
-Risky up and comer or established coach?
-Can a coach navigate all the BS that comes with coaching at UM? Local handlers, small alumni base and fan support, the dynamics of S Florida recruiting, etc.
Appreciate the genuine discussion (although I know I likely won’t get it here lol)
While I agree with you somewhat, I like the fact that the fan base is smart enough to see through the BS that was the 11 wins.JFC this has to be the only fan base that wants to talk about a new head coach after a potential 11 win season.
