Marcus Hardison in play?

One common denominator with Goldens recruiting strategy is having a having multiple back-up plans in place for every position he is recruiting. He made a comment in his interview he is being very selective this year with the limited ships - hence the delay in moving on from Hooks/Johnson/Bradley to guys like Hardison. I still think we turn a JUCO DT before it's all said and done. It is the most glaring hole we have on our team and the coaches know it has the potential to make or break next season.

Some of these SEC teams have thrived off of cherry picking the best JC DT's year in and year out to fill roster holes. Without Jenkins this year Georgia is not the same team. Cody put Bama over the top a couple years back. Question I have is what kind of talent is Hardison - is he a difference maker?

I really like the way he jumps the snap so aggressively. That's something the D-line was lacking last year beyond McCord.

If that is the CS article then I would not take their timelines to heart. I remember them posting on article on Shazier saying Miami was in it. Shazier had committed to OSU a week prior to that article being posted LOL They do articles and then save them for a later date.

Yes, we need a big inside guy who can get some push and collapse the pocket. Need penetration so our DEs can make more sacks. Definitely need some big help at DT from a Juco. Big time need.
