I know they have 14 runs on the board and a bunch of hits but some of these at bats down the stretch with runners on have been pitiful...this has to get better if they want to compete in acc play and beyond...stranding guys like crazy. Wish morales was better in the field bc I'd assume keep Gil in slide morales to SS and only use pitelli in late game defensive situations similar to jenkins bc he provides nothing at the plate

14-8. Garland certainly isn’t making his case for a weekend start.

Personally McFarlane makes more sense than Garland for the third weekend starter, Garland is too much of a drop off stuff wise from Rosario and Mederos.

Win and the RPI takes care of itself. We just surged up 19 spots to 38. That surge and Florida still being 56th probably tells you it’s probably a smidge early to look at it.

This makes sense, but give me the overall better pitcher all day over the guy with better stuff. McFarlane still looks a bit too erratic for my liking. With garland you know you’re getting strikes, even though last night wasn’t his best.
