His highlights are legit but he plays a schedule full of scrub teams. Tampa has a few good squads but for the most part a bunch of the teams around here aren't competitive.

So did David Njoku, what's your point?

Just pointing out his highlights could be deceptive, David Njokus don't happen all the time either. All I know is I'm from the Tampa area, I seen many of the teams he played, if CC played the same schedule as Jesuit they would stomp everybody by 40 points and Nayquan Wright would look like the best back in the state.

I live in Tampa too. Lutz guy right about competition. Tampa has a lot of talented kids, but not a lot of talented teams. Don't know why but Armwood and Plant are the only schools that go all out for football. Maybe Jesuit and Tampa Catholic too.

I third that statement about competition in Hillsborough.

The county top heavy. Armwood, Hillsborough, and Plant are the only teams that will constantly field good team. Tech, Plant City, Jefferson, Chamberlain, Wharton, and Brandon all go through their cycles of being really good and really terrible.

Presumably that there are many prospects who look good in highlihts against lesser competition but that may not be a great indication of their next level potential. Davod Njoku is one kid. There are plenty more who don't rise along with the competition.

Can't believe how fast Davis is for how stiff he runs. Runs upright too. All of which could be fixed.

Newberg is an FSU putz that pretty much acts like a recruiter for FSU even he is disguised as a quasi reporter. Everything is pro FSU and anti-everyone else. Especially Miami, FSU's biggest threat, now that we got a real HC.

I see a decisive back who runs behind his pads in traffic puts his foot in the ground and gets up field. I think he has tremendous upside at the next level. I don't see Joe Yearby at all. For people old enough to remember, he reminds me of a much smaller version of George Rogers. As Cash puts out he runs tight, but it looks natural to me. He's a definite take in my book. Who do we have that's definitely coming that's better?

Bird, no idea on your last question. Perhaps the coaches know something, but I don't understand how this recruit isn't a priorrity.

I also don't see Yearby at all.
