Larry the homer Blustein said on FiveRings show that Malachi Toney steps right in and starts next season. Jeremiah Smith impact.

Good. We need more guys like that. Still need that #1 outside receiver next season. Hopefully MC can find that guy in the portal. **** at this point I would overpay for the 5 star receiver leaving Texas Tech if he checks out.

I think we got hard after the USC kid branch. They won't give up on Dallas Wilson, I dont see it but they will pay him.

I was looking at the roster and recruiting and came away thinking Toney could make an impact next year to help fill the void of X. He’s similar player, short area quickness, compact build and really tough.

I know there are lots of raw emotions right now but this class really is quite good and fills needs with talented guys. Mario will supplement with the portal of course but the 20 or so kids signing tomorrow will be impactful.

We’re losing 4 of our top 5 receiving production (X,Brown, JD, and Arroyo). There will definitely be opportunities for him to play year 1
