Hopefully this doesn't foreshadow maturity concerns overall but he's a good athlete who was productive at a local power, has hands, runs good routes, decent wiggle. If Ray Ray leaves he has a real shot to get on the field next year in some capacity.
 
The reason Smith isn't here is because of the huge NIL Ohio Ohio State. Bottom line, that was it.
I guess regarding Beard's job is the comment made was a comment made by a certain person here locally. Personally, I think he's done a good job developing our wide receivers. Look at the progress that have been made by our number two and three wideouts. I also think we got the two best wide receiver for recruits in South Florida.

Man Frosh Coley was something.

Just wanted to highlight Coley was the #7 WR in the nation coming out, & continued to trend up b4 NSD. Richards was the #28 WR in the nation, & continued to trend up b4 NSD. Toney is the 51st WR in the nation, & have trended downward before ESD.

Even a guy like X, even though he was the 36th ranked ATH in the nation, he was trending up by the time he signed. So I’m wondering why Toney started to trend down, & also I would temper down expectations in yr 1 for the pup. (Not saying u have these expectations vs. the board in general).

I think the culprit of trending down happens a lot when kids have been evaluated for years. I think he has been seen since really young and unfortunately for guys like that people get used to who that kid is and get infatuated with other kids who are later bloomers and they go up. This kid has won his team playoff games it's weird for him to trend down at this point but either way glad he is here. We need some portal help at WR for sure.

I would imagine the reclassification and then enhanced given his frame.

Even Blount trended down, just not as much comparatively due to the fact that he had size to mitigate the judgement (my opinion).
