Sure, with proper schemes. But that would mean proper coaching and ours is marginal on the offensive side of the ball and down right ****** on the defensive side. Our wins have not been against teams who have greater talent than us. Matter of fact, I'd say Duke's win vs us is somewhat comparable to the GaSouthern win vs Fla.

Anyone who thinks not playing in the ACCCG this season isn't a failure is looking at the glass waaay past half full. Our schedule was Charmin soft and the only obstacle (if you want to call it that) was taking care of business on our side conference.

Exactly. Dudes are trying to excuse ****ing away the Coastal TWICE because we might win 10 games. We might win 8 too. How many of those 8 to 10 wins will have been against teams over .500? We played one of the worst schedules in college football this year and still sharted in our pants.

sad you think that...our line has played great...Morris who we all know sucks has been sacked what 10 times all year if that much and duke was easily on his way to 1200 yards instead we have a converted Safety getting 130+ yard games...you will miss this oline next year...I know our new Qb will...

and I also think Duke is just a better team this year..great chemistry and well coached..smart KIDS...they listen and understand

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, but Shannon also blew an opportunity to win the Coastal in 2009 despite an early loss to VT by losing to Clemson and UNC late.

Any year where Duke beats us, and in doing so, claims a spot in the ACC Title game over us is a ******* disaster. Who in the **** have we beaten? GT? A UF team that sucks ****? Give me a break. This year has been a massive bust. The ACC Title game, a low bar, by-the-*******-way, was there for the taking and we missed it.

That Puke game is unforgiveable. That was proof positive that Corch Al is a mediocre at best HC. There's no way you can get a gift of a second chance at the ACCCG like that and then flop like that against stinkin *** Puke. That is proof that Al Tin can't push the right buttons and get his team ready when he needs to.

He's got A LOT of work to do if he ever wants to be a top HC. He's going to need to read some books and do some soul-searching this offseason because what he's doing isn't working.

There is improvement, I don't think the regimes resemble each other at all (maybe somewhat similar outcomes).

Recruiting has improved (with the NCAA), it will probably get better too look at 2014. S&C has improved. I also think he is a good leader but...I actually think the only thing holding us back from having more success (i.e. WINS) is a DC. I don't think the same thing could be said for RS since he couldn't be an HC, he couldn't recruit and he was a terrible leader.

I think at the end of year 3 under RS, almost everyone said please leave.

I think at the end of year 3 under AG, most are saying please get rid of the DC or please leave.

I think there is a major difference. Most aren't calling for Golden's head.

Also Re, recruiting, look at our two deep. How many of Shannon's leftovers are logging major minutes for us? A whole lot. Golden hasn't recruited well enough to push those Shannon scrubs out.

Hahaha!!! Did you even read what I said? You think GaSouthern has better players than Florida? I didn't say anything about our players. I said coaching. GaSouthern figured out how to beat Florida even with inferior talent. Duke found a way to beat us with inferior talent. VaTech found a way to beat us with inferior talent. We've had close wins against opponents with FAR inferior talent. It's coaching. And most importantly, on the defensive side. I don't fault our players one bit. But even our backup players are better than many of the first stringers on opposing teams and STILL we've had close wins and blowout losses.
