What Is d$'s background?

Does it matter?

I am guessing this was meant to be more along the lines of 'What are D$'s connections; how does he get his info.' One can argue it still doesn't matter if he is consistently accurate, but I dont think there is any harm in wondering how he gets his info. Doesn't mean he or anyone else needs to share, but it's an understandable question.

Yeah, because D$ (or anyone with sources) is gonna tell some random internet posters his sources.

No, but if he worked in the Hecht vs my cousin's girl friend went to school with ***, etc. I can't imagine that his 'sources' do not know he is posting on a forum. I would imagine that he is told (or makes educated decisions) on what he shares. Besides, there are ways to give a general idea of who your sources without specifically giving them (ex: he is friends with one of the coaches). Again, not saying he needs or should share, but I really don't see the harm in the question.

This. I'm not questioning his info. but i do not know his track record so I was trying to get some idea how credible his info might be.

No harm in the question at all. I usually get my info from the UM side, but in this case it came from someone directly involved in the investigation but not at Miami. Hopefully it was accurate, but we shall see.

Wonder if the equipment manager getting canned has anything to do with us finding out some things?
