Major 2019 WR target Ladson talks Miami

We need to change our mindset (as fans) in regard to early offers. The goal for teams now is to get as many signed on that early signing deadline as possible. That will require heavily recruiting players YEARS out so they are comfortable enough with signing on the dotted line in December v. waiting the process out.

Also, gonna see players getting recruited early, but dropped earlier, too. Plenty of summer of junior year "stopped hearing from..." quotes will surely be coming in THE WORK.

I don’t think Fuller will be in this class

Is that because we are in play for bigger prospects? Or is he having second thoughts?

Bigger prospects

See this kinda **** can't keep happening bruh...... Don't burn our home grown kids for oos kids I hope these "BIGGER PROSPECTS" are from the tri county area.

I’m with you on that part. If we drop a local kid it ought to be for a better local kid.

If not we need to stay with them because it’s never about this year’s class. It’s about the foundation to build a pipeline like we are low key doing at IMG right now for example.

You couldn’t tell me that the Patrick Joyner “you’re the one LB we want” strategy was just because he’s that good of a prospect. They see Stevenson and Ladson around the corner and possibly more in 2020 and beyond.

We often get mad when certain kids don’t get offers but that’s the PC portion on the recruiting strategy we don’t see.

Agreed.

Not a big fan of doing this with the local kids - unless there's more to this story.

Marrero isn’t a canes fan at all. He’s one of the local “do you, son! Get paid!” Groupies

Assuming Richards goes pro, he would have a great chance to start as a freshman. This dude is a ******* animal.
