The brothers should prep this year. Maybe Al can place them and get 1st shot in 2014. If grades are real bad they can go to JUCO together.

Seems like a good kid that is prepared to work hard. Best wishes to him.

Just leaving Immokalee is a huge step for the betterment of his life.

I read that article this morning and thought the same thing.
In the article it said how they played Miami Jackson and how fans were making fun of his team telling them to go pick something in reference to fruit picking. Got the feeling, being from Immokolee, that he doesn't like big city folk.

Either way, he seems like a good kid and I really hope he makes it to the League to help his family out.

Glad we passed

I'm not. After reading that ESPN article I think this kid is a quality person and has as much hunger to succeed for his family as Sonny Odogwu.
Read the article and then tell us you are glad we passed.

That humble feel-good story seems to be the antithesis of the way he was acting several months ago when he was making demands and refusing to attend The Don's camp.

From that story it sounds like he might not have been able to afford the camp fee as small as it seemingly is.
When you don't have 50 bucks, then 50 bucks might as well be 10K.

Loved his attitude at the all-star game he played in. Kid plays and talks sh*t like an old school Cane.
