Why would any NFL coach voluntarily come back and have to deal with recruiting?

Not a Saban situation either where he couldn't cut it.

LMFAO. The average NFL team is worth in the billions. College fans really dont seem to get that the NFL dwarfs college. UT isn't taking an elite NFL coach.

Doubt they will offer Jimbo. And if they did, would he walk from NC game? It would have to be after game. The longer they wait, the more likely it could be. Still, Jimbo without The Rapist is like Urban without Tebow.

Dana Holgorsen or Briles
my "guess"
i think Jimbo or Miles will be the fist ones to be offered with Saben. they will all work it for more cash.

If UT hires Holgersen, the fans would burn that campus to the ground.
I think they don't care about anything other than winning now.
Brown is 158-47 in his 16 seasons at Texas, nine wins short of tying Darrell Royal for the most in school history. He won 10 or more games for nine consecutive seasons (2001-09), and he's currently No. 10 on the FBS all-time coaching wins list.
Texas played in two BCS championship games, won two Big 12 titles, went to 14 bowl games and finished in the top 15 a total of 10 times during Brown's tenure. He coached more than 50 All-Americans and more than 70 All-Big 12 players at Texas, including five conference players of the year on offense and six on defense.

My problem with Mack Brown, and maybe it's a problem with Texas HS football, is that the players never developed under his watch.

They bagged ridiculous recruiting class after ridiculous recruiting class and those kids were as good at 18 as they were at 22. Maybe they all peaked in HS, as HS football down there is a religion, but I'm unsure.
