Because silent commits are BS, that's why. I'm not going to say this is a failure on Thomas Brown's part. It's shady that after a dinner, Maryland all of a sudden flips this kid. That reeks of shady crap.

But from my understanding, I don't see anyone listing other RBs that we're after. Because we had a silent from McFarland up until now.

Btw, saw somewhere that this kid's announcement is getting pushed back at noon. But we all know where he's going.

Silent commit or public commit, a kid can still flip if he wants. Harley was a verbal commit to WV and looked what happened. Herbert was a verbal commit to Michigan and look what happened. Your argument makes no sense. McFarland could verbally committed instead of being a silent and still changed his mind. Our fan base turns to idiots any time a kid commits somewhere else.

Herbert was pushed out of Michigan's class as they started to get other o-linemen that were higher on their board. I'm not complaining, he's a good one.

Harley had still given the indication that he was open to recruiting which is why WV kept recruiting him as hard as they did. The *** whooping they got didn't make them look favorable as Harley had shut his recruitment down prior to the bowl game.

My argument makes a lot of sense as this kid told the staff he was coming.

Better take that idiot comment elsewhere.

also upvoted. this ranks in the top 5 all time recruiting troll jobs. tyler byrd was a little worse because he was actually committed. we also deserve blame though for letting a kid that wasnt willing to commit string us along.

George "OC" Brown, knowing full well that depth is a major concern for the upcoming season, banks entirely on an out of state kid and a Jeremy Shaap story if Burns can overcome his injuries to one day play football again. SMH
