How good is Lagway? How much better would he be with a year to develop?

Honestly, if a 7-5/8-4 season is inevitable like the mopes say, it would make sense to roll with Nickel and let him learn/take the lumps that come with entering CFB. He'd have a great OL protecting him, a solid run game to rely on, and good WR talent too.

You'd have a battle tested QB going into 2026, and could solely focus on putting the best skill players around him.

Clearly he's not the guy FFS he had one incompletion in the state championship game, which screams "game manager".

On a non-asinine note did you see his playoff stats, jeebus, he was on fire.

In five postseason games, he threw for 1,431 yards and 20 TDs (0 INTs) while adding 178 yards rushing and three more scores.
