Nickel threw for 302 yards and 3 TDs on 19 passes and also ran for 92 yards and 2 TDs on 7 carries. His undefeated Milton team beat Lee County, 56-28.

Championship is on Tuesday at Mercedes-Benz stadium against Josh Horton’s alma mater Langston Hughes.

Watching Nickel play and the kid is smart, deceptively quick and accurate passer! Great state championship game from the ATL!
