Prior to today, word was they would target the transfer portal for a QB if Underwood flipped. We will be following up with sources if that plan of attack changed, but i have a hunch that will be the most successful route this late in the game.
The last figure i heard on the LSU side was 7 million and the hope was that would be enough. We know money was a driving factor in this, but the pitch from Michigan labeling Underwood as the guy to turn things around in Ann Arbor also hit home, per a source.
I don't think you can look past LSU's struggles of late and say they were not a factor because that would be naive IMO.
