LSU QB Colin Hurley

I’ve never been to LSU’s campus but they have enough open space to get into a fatal car accident?

These campuses are enormous, like small cities. Im sure a kid flooring his charger can run into problems anywhere
Gotcha. The UCF campus was pretty big when I was there (it’s probably twice the size now) but there wasn’t a ton of open road areas. It was mostly parking lots interconnected by a few small roads.

Not that there wasn’t money in the game before, but given the collectives now and how out in the open it is, colleges should all have an NFL rookie symposium equivalent.

I would have been an absolute moron if I had a million dollars at 18. Would be nice if these kids all got as much help as possible to succeed and be safe.

First Hope he’s okay.
Not gonna speculate, but people rarely just hit a tree in the middle of the night sober.

Update, read the article, and it says officials don’t suspect he was impaired.
Yes hope he is ok no matter what , that being said I tend to have a bit less sympathy if someone is driving impaired, a drunk driver killed my best friend.

Yea I hear ya. It’s terrible. I worked in LE for 4 years. 9 times out of 10 this is impairment or conditions like icey roads. Other times it’s simply falling asleep or a medical episode, but less likely. Who knows, especially if it was campus police.

I'm sorry to read this and I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't see an appropriate emoji to click on, hence the message. Also, I lost a brother in a car wreck many years ago today. It's an awful feeling that I wish upon no one.

Miami has plenty of places on campus where someone could do something stupid (or have a medical emergency, etc) that could lead to a fatal accident, particularly if they aren't wearing a seatbelt.

****, I remember when I was a dumb 20 year old going to school there and I took a right turn way too fast from US1 onto Stanford drive trying to impress my friends and lost control. Luckily able to right the car quickly, but if I had taken it a bit faster, it could ended up very badly.
