LSU OT Chidi Okeke

LSU offensive lineman Chidi Valentine-Okeke announced his intentions to transfer from the Tigers on his Twitter page on Tuesday morning.

Valentine-Okeke was a redshirt freshman in 2016 and participated in every game this season, with zero starts.

The 6-foot-6, 312-pound Nigerian native was rated as a five-star prospect by 247 Sports coming out of high school and was a U.S. Army All-American.

Valentine-Okeke was expected to compete for more playing time in 2017. The offensive line will lose two starters off of this year's team in center Ethan Pocic and guard Josh Boutte.

The same way Berlin, Willis and Vogel were Florida rejects?

They're only "rejects" if they aren't productive ball players.

We don't know how good Brown will be, but I'm sure the coaches have some idea.

How many LSU reject OT's do you guys want Miami to take. They already have one.

It'd be one thing if these guys were junior and seniors and looking to transfer, but they're still young with a chance to improve.

I remember when he was in HS the rumor was that he had handlers that LSU paid...something about the family he was staying with or something. Wish I could remember the details. Anyone else remember that?

If I remember correctly he was at that strip mall hs with Geron. Some family members or handlers took him to GA for his last year of hs.
