The AD at LSU Scott Woodard was the AD that hired him at TAMU & gave him the original 10 year $100mill contract he already has.

The two of them actually had a falling out & don’t get along as much anymore which is why he didn’t go back to LSU.

Jumbo is also tied into the Boosters at TAMU, he would be reviled in Texas if he snaked them like that & left after all the money they’re paying him. He essentially would be blocked in TX if he left for LSU which would effect his recruiting big time, because despite Louisiana being a rich recruiting talent pool within itself they still heavily rely on Texas talent as well.

Again, I'm just ranking them, not saying that there is a particular dollar amount that is "right" or "wrong".

As for comparing Jimbo and Mack at this time...let's take a look at the recruiting classes thus far.

I hate Jimbo. I hate the time he spent at F$U. But he seems to be pulling kids in for aTm. Yes, he needs to win more games.
