This was only a close game because Lou made a ton of mistakes in the first half.

Louisville is a good offense, but let's not act like Louisville is the only game our D has been.....below average.

I can find an excuse for all but the VT game. Cal was basically playing at midnight for the players. Brohm is a top offensive coach, ST blunders and a turnover made it look worse than it was. VT was at home, only excuse is that the offense was bootycheeks in the first half and continuously put the defense in a bad position. D still should have been better though in the first half.
