Louisville noon on ABC

I was hoping for a 3:30 start. Will make the tailgating start before sun up with a noon start. Oh well I am game to be drinking at 6am.

A few differences from last year.

1) UL was coming off a long week playing the Thursday before our game. That allowed them a few extra days of rest for the players and scheme changes for their coaching staff (we know Brohm is good).
2) We were coming off the rivalry game with FSU

This year we get the rest (has not always worked out for us) and they have to play an away game this week.

Why would I be kidding? A 730 start on October 19 in Louisville likely means temperatures in the low 40s. That's not advantageous for us. I prefer noon.
No, it definitely doesn't mean low 40s at 7:30pm or even at 10:30pm when the game would be ending.

Edit: I forgot who I was talking to. Same guy who posted that we are a 1-point underdog to UL. My mistake.

Well....even with a win this week vs UVA crowd will be close to irrelevant. But if they do happen to lose to UVA then that stadium wont even be full.
False..... You're going to have potentially a top 5 team coming to your house. You don't think they're going to pack that stadium? Especially against a RELEVANT MIAMI????

Clearly the ACC and ESPN/Disney hate Miami and want us to lose.

I made that comment that we're the new Colorado and people on here did not respond well to that. I'm sorry Canesinsight but it's the reality. Colorado's games this year:

Week 1: vs NDSU 6th most watched game
Week 2: vs Nebraska 2nd most watched game
Week 3: vs Colorado State 5th most watched game
Week 4: vs Baylor 5th most watched game
Week 5: vs UCF 3rd most watched game

That is 100% driven by hate. Nobody should be watching those games but they're getting SEC viewer numbers because people hate them. Those numbers are way better than anything Miami has produced in 20 years. ESPN knows this and that's why Gameday went to Cal and that's why we're going to be on ABC.

If Miami wants to make a case to the BIG10 that our viewing numbers can be astronomical then they need to keep winning and they need to be loud. Sports is entertainment, it's not serious. Go entertain people.

What's the average low in Louisville, KY on October 19, Mr. September 15, 2024 registered user?

Good. Takes the extreme cold out of the equation.
LOL. I hope any of our guys who hope to play in the nfl don't think anything in the 40s is extreme cold. OTOH, we are the only team I know who took the big coats and heaters to ORLANDO for a game in the 50s. How'd all our guys play in BUF and Green Bay?
