Folks, I hate to say but we are getting killed by UF and FSU in the 2017 DB recruiting battle. I am not sure what the reasons will be but it is pretty obvious that we are now targeting plan B guys. So Far we lost our to top safety prospects to the noles (Daniel Wright and Cyrus ***an), Carter seems to be a heavy lean to Notre Dame, this is the reason we are now heavily recruiting Brian Edwards and if the gators start recruiting him hard we might lose him. As far as CB is concerned, Shawn Davis is all gators, Brini wants to have a reason to go out state, Marco Wilson is a ?, this is the reason they offered Bandy late in the process. South Florida is loaded this year with DBs but we are probably not going to get our top targets. Hopefully we win 10+ games and change the perception little by little. I’m still not sure how good of a recruiter Mike Rumph but only time will tell. The way I see it, we will finish with Gibson, Maybe Brian Edwards, CJ Henderson, Hopefully Bandy, and Maybe Marco Wilson. I does not look too promising but hopefully winning cures everything

Lol at you guys, so the OOS/CFL guys that have visited like Grant Delpit and Brad Stewart are irrelevant to you?? That's just naming a few

We beat FSU and it's a different ball game. Jumbo will be exposed this year. It started last year and it will get worse. Winston made him look good just like Brady did for fat Charlie.

This is ludicrous.

First and foremost, the sky is not falling and Miami's DB class will be comparable to that of FSU when its all said and done. Secondly, the idea Jimbo Fisher isn't a good coach is laughable. The man can coach and build a program and that's fine. Miami has a more than capable head coach and we'll be making noise soon enough.

It's too early to call anything right now, but one thing for sure is we are just getting started. So before losing out on talent becomes a yearly pattern under CMR, people are then acting a bit too impatient.

We offer Bandy before his senior season and it's too late in the process, We get Henderson committed his Junior year and it's too early to hold onto him lmao.

I hate FSU as much as the next guy, but if going 10-3 and only losing to the national champion runner ups, a fluke play, and a bowl game is being "exposed" then I pray to God that Richt is exposed this year too. Let's take care of business and not turn into a bunch of pussies after 6 months.

Bandy isn't a plan B option...he was a wait and see based off of his height and was made a priority after they evaluated him

And the db class is not loaded in south florida this year. Its a lot of solid to good prospects but none are elite. I think marco might end up being the best of the crop because he looks like a natural cb.

They are irrelevant because they are not coming here.

I can see why you can see that about Grant but Please tell me how there isn't a chance Brad Stewart isn't coming here when his whole family came down and his uncle is a die hard cane fan

Are you as confident on that like you were with Devonta Smith?? ( you said the same thing ) he told Adam Gorney(a national recruiting analyst for rivals, not ferman or shodell) that his top three schools were LSU, Us, and Bama a week ago

Its mostly potential nothing really dead set, the only two that are instant impact guys are bandy and marco

Also love the notion around here that when a kid commits to another team there is no chance he flips but when hes here everyone thinks they decommit lol
