Went to a good HS program. His dad played CFB at ND, and his mom effectively won the soccer heisman while at ND. Seems like a good WR2 add. Still would need to go for the top WR available in Spring, but this would be nice and significantly raise the floor and make me feel much better about our depth.

Just a thought has any children that portal from Miami to others were successful to the NFL ?

If a player “intends to enter the portal” is he allowed to reach out to other programs directly prior to being in the portal? And going back to Lucas, what if the school doesn’t file the papers? Can the player talk to other programs as soon as he submits his papers?

Alternatively, can his NIL agent reach out to NIL collectives and start negotiating prior to the portal opening back up, knowing that’s a back channel to the coaching staff?

I know everyone does it all anyway, just wondering what the actual NCAA rules are.
