Playing qb shows he has above average football IQ. It's more likely he learns the playbook faster than average, especially with KB as wr coach who is a solid developer. Rb & wr typically have highest rates of early return at the cfb level. The big part is your first sentence. I’m making the assumption he would be used as a slot. I’m not sure how playing qb helps/hinders his abiilty to acclimate in the short term.
I love this kid’s potential. Think it may be a year before he is a major contributor. And nobody will be happier if I’m wrong on this.
Not anymore with all the ones that left cot****!Penn state had WRs on their team?
between he or the Bama kid.
I dont think we need a slot. I think we actually need height.
He played QB for three games in his HS career lllThe big part is your first sentence. I’m making the assumption he would be used as a slot. I’m not sure how playing qb helps/hinders his abiilty to acclimate in the short term.

PSU has freak athletes across the board at like every position. It's something they heavily emphasize.Penn State had some freaks at WR.....but their QB can't see them to throw the ball.
Evans is a legit speed guy....listed in the 4.3s so probably 4.4s. Wallace can leap out of the gym. Their corner Cam Miller in the portal as well. He's played a lot of snaps.
It would be awesome if Carr played to the level of Jacolby George 2024 vintage (putting aside his dumb penalties). This past season Jacolby played with confidence and a swag unseen his prior years. He took it to heart to plant his foot and get up field upon catch. I loved how after he was tackled he would stretch his arms to place the ball above his head for an extra yard (ala Edgerrin James). Here are his highlights from 2024:Carr I think can play the role of Jacolby George, meaning he can get it done on the outside. In regard to Ray Ray, meh I think he could legit move to RB if needed.
