Look to the Transfer Portal: Discussion thread

who knows maybe, but he isnt very good imo. both their teams won a lot of games in spite of their QBs.

if ryan day comes back next year, that means they won the NCG. i dont see any other way hes allowed back.
I hope Tennessee thumps them. lol.

Losing a LB transfer doesnt move the needle for me. Like someone said, im sure we wanted him..but at what price? Buddy probably just wanted to see if we would meet some crazy asking price and had Missouri as his destination the entire time. Our LB room isnt at the point where we overpay for a kid like him. Im okay with moving on.

I like our LBs and think we should focus all the money on the DT and the secondary.

is it hotdog water or hot dog water?

Never was able to figure that saying out.

Both suck and both accurate
It’s “hot dog” water technically but it makes it funnier to use the wrong spelling to emphasize the level of trash recruiting has been recently

The idea of Milroe as a first round pick is absolutely hilarious. Not saying it won’t happen, but it will absolutely get a GM fired. Dude is buns.
Drafting any QB not named Cam Ward this draft is going to lead to those dudes being fired.

I was dead nuts on where Miami would finish in the HS rankings.

I will be releasing my portal class rank prediction on Monday.

Miami finishes outside the top 15 in portal rankings, winding up at #17.

“Quality was the name of the game this year,” Coach Cristobal whispered into the microphone. “Not just quantity. ‘No empty calories’ was our mantra. We didn’t believe, as a staff, we didn’t believe we had a lot to replace after last season. Benefit of recruiting at a high level like we have. We love our QB, he’s a proven leader, he’s been in the system a long time. Beaten Clemson, given life and limb, literally. Nearly beat a very talented Florida State team. The team loves him, I love him, opposing defenses I hope don’t, you know, but. You can see by the wide receiver we brought in that there’s awareness of his intangibles, and that receiver and Emory are already planning on moving in together. Like I told them.

Defensively, we had a few holes. Kiko obviously. But our staff did a good job keeping the band together, so we didn’t… didn’t see a need to blow everything up and pull in a bunch of other guys. We pursued a safety more out of principle than real need. We are happy there. Defensive back in general has a lot of young guys with a lot of potential. You see that with OJ. We’ve brought in guys from elsewhere and they really struggled in conference play, so we are trusting our evaluations.

We needed help on the defensive line, and we’ll have that with a healthy Rueben Bain. If anything we’ve had too much depth there, it’ll be nice to have the same top tier line running every play, more or less.

If there’s nothing else, we will see you all after Iowa State.”
