My god this past month has been a disaster. We moved quick out the gate a few years ago with NIL, but the BIG/SEC schools have fine tuned their NIL game and Mario’s biggest advantage as a HC has largely been neutralized. The only thing Mario brings to the table now is that if he’s goes, the big money donors go too. This program is yet again a hostage to politics and incompetence.

It seems to me that if I were a highly ranked quarterback entering the transfer portal, I'd put a no contact tag just to keep 131 desperate head coaches from spamming me with offers. I'd initiate communications with one or two schools that I had interest in that would pay me well and position me to go high in the NFL draft.

if i were a highly ranked qb, i would create a reality competition tv show where head coaches for different interested schools have to do obstacle courses and eating competitions each week to stay in the running for my services. winning coach would get me for one season at a cost of $1, and i would keep all the revenue from the show.
