Look to the Transfer Portal: Discussion thread

I actually don't mind a lot of what we are doing in the portal. DB portal imo isn't nearly as hot as it was last year from what I remember. But maybe that was more Spring I'm thinking of when DB portal was on fire and we blew it... Actually I think it was.

But man if we can get

QB: Mateer
RB: Anyone cheap honestly... Guess this is Lloyd Avant....
WR: 2 of Eric Singleton, KC Concepcion, J Michael Sturdivant/ Dane Key / CJ Daniels / De'Zhaun Stribling, Eric Rivers (mostly if we miss on Singleton/Concepcion...
TE: 1, Don't really care too much which. Probably prefer a good Receiving option to start, but fine with a 3rd Blocking TE.
OL: I trust Mario will get what we need here... probably need a Center and/or Guard again the most.
DL: 1 of Keeshawn Silvers / David Blay
EDGE: Maybe someone like Kyran Duhon or Nate Johnson (both were Fr AA last 2 yrs) ... otherwise wait till spring portal.
LB : Mikai Gbayor /
CB: Cameron Calhoun and Ethan OConner ... Maybe hope for like a Tacario Davis > Charles Brantley. Need a Nickel guy in Spring Portal.
S: Zechariah Poyser AND another S at some point, maybe Spring portal

That would be pretty good.

If the only competition is OU and theyre offering 1.5 theres no reason to offer 2 m
Yeah but why would you think OU is only offering $1.5M or that another program wouldn’t get in on the action at that rate?

Michigan just paid Underwood like $2.5M/yr as a 5star out of HS. Mateer could be a Heisman favorite entering next season and is proven.

Didn’t McKenzie Milton’s career end when he tore his beau pribola?

@PIPO you're right. @ben is back at it again

From 247:

Singleton and Daniels are going to watch Miami practice on Monday morning, giving them an opportunity to see how the Canes operate on a day-to-day basis. There will certainly be questions about the quarterback situation, so those two guys will get a chance to evaluate backup Emory Williams while also getting an in-depth look at what the No. 1 offense in the country looks like with Heisman finalist Cam Ward set to play in the Pop-Tarts Bowl.

Miami will host former Oklahoma State standout wideout De'Zhaun Stribling on Tuesday. I would also keep an eye out on former NC State wide receiver KC Concepcion.

they believe Ol Miss is the school most concerning with Rivers and Daniels continuing to take visits.

Would really like Singleton. Stribling and Horton would give us two taller physical wrs. Really like Concepcion and Daniels too, but it kinda sounds like the first two could be better fits for Dawson’s system.
