NCAA will close ranks and fight to the death under the banner of student athlete. Football, and, to an extent, basketball, pays for all those nice Title Nine bs sports for women and "non-athletes". Congress will save the day for NCAA is all else fail. I mean, would you what to run for re-election if your upper-class supporters had to pay tuition for their sexually questionable volleyball playing daughter. The money machine of NCAA football has many political implications.
